Welcome to Piquant Baby, these Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all transactions for the sale of goods on www.piquantbaby.ie. Please read them carefully. By accessing this website you “agree” to be bound by these terms and conditions and agree to the privacy policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on the Website.
Secure Payment System
At Piquant Baby, we value your privacy and security. We use PayPal, a secure payment gateway that accepts payments via credit card by MasterCard, Visa or Bankcard. Alternative payment methods are also welcomed, such as direct bank deposit and cheque. All orders will be shipped once payment has cleared.
Orders can be placed quickly and easily using our online cart system, alternatively you can email hello@piquantbaby.ie. Please include your contact details along with product codes & preferred size/colour / design if emailing orders and we will contact you promptly to confirm your order with you.
Confirmation Email to Client
Once your order is placed and payment has been received, you will receive your order confirmation by email to the address provided.
Gift Wrapping
We will wrap your gift in crisp tissue paper with ribbon along with our complimentary gift tag as standard. However if you wish you can have your gift wrapped & placed inside our luxury gift box with our complimentary gift tag, for a flat rate of € 4.25 please select this option at check out.
*Please not that some larger items may be unsuitable to fit into gift boxes. However these items can be gift wrapped instead.
Privacy
At Piquant Baby, we value your privacy. Piquant Baby is a Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 (“the Acts”). Any information provided by you is used solely to facilitate the mailing of your order. We do not keep records, sell your information or contact you without your express permission. In addition, we confirm that, where applicable, we comply with all the provisions of the Acts including:
• Obtaining and processing information fairly
• Keeping information only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purposes
• Using and disclosing information only in ways compatible with these purposes
• Keep information safe and secure
• Keeping information accurate, complete and up-to-date
• Ensure that information is adequate, relevant and not excessive
• Retaining information for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes
• We will give you a copy of your personal data on request
Out of Stock
Piquant Baby will contact you immediately if an item you have selected is temporarily out of stock or unavailable. In this situation, you may choose to wait whilst we locate another, exchange or refund your order.
Cancellation
You may wish to cancel your order, if you decide to do this please contact us immediately by calling +353 86 0263822 or emailing us at hello@piquantbaby.ie. Your order will be cancelled provided it has not been dispatched.
Prices
Piquant Baby prices are quoted in Euro. We reserve the right to review and make changes to the prices listed on our website at any time.
Except for baby clothing Vat is included at the standard rate where applicable. We are unable to refund Vat on overseas orders.
Piquant Baby are not liable for any import taxes or duties which may be payable on orders delivered outside the EU.
Customer Service
At Piquant Baby, we pride ourselves on our customer service. Please feel free to contact us at hello@piquantbaby.ie or by phoning 086 0263822 if you would like more information about a product. We are more than happy to measure clothing for you, email more photos or answer your questions!
Cooling Off Period
We understand that items may be unsuitable or you may simply change your mind. We are happy to exchange the item provided it is returned to us within 7 working days of receipt of your order. Simply return the unsuitable item to us and then the new item will be on its way to you.
If you request a refund, we will refund your money within 30 days of receipt of your email or letter informing us of your change of mind once the item has been returned to us in its original condition, that is unworn, unwashed with tags and packaging intact and accompanied by proof of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if the item is not returned in brand new condition. We recommend that you send by recorded post and that you retain proof of postage as we cannot accept responsibility for items which are lost in transit.
Please note: Items returned to us more than 28 days after receipt will not be subject to refunds.

Please note that where a customer is availing of the cooling off period, postage fees on returned items are at the customer’s expense unless otherwise stated / agreed.
Customised Items
Please note that there is no exchange / return on goods that have been customised. Piquant Baby does not accept any liability for spelling errors / incorrect date of birth etc. where the customer has provided this information.
Faulty Goods
At Piquant Baby every gift is quality checked before it is dispatched to you. However in the unlikely event that our product is faulty or damaged in transit please contact us immediately and we will gladly exchange or refund the product including relevant delivery charges. We recommend that you send by recorded post and that you retain proof of purchase and postage as we cannot accept responsibility for items which are lost in transit.
